This is a link to a web site that has topo maps, elevation charts and pictures on numerious day hikes in the Carson Pass area. It also contains pictures on numerious local celebrations in and around Mace Meadow Golf Course.

     Adopt a Pet

This is a link to the local animal shelter, which usually has large numbers of dogs and cats available for adoption. The shelter is on Airport Road, next to the airport.

     Hospice

Since 1982, Hospice of Amador and Calaveras has been working to meet the needs of those nearing the end of their lives. Hospice care neither hastens nor postpones death but exists in the hope and belief that through appropriate care, patients with life-limiting illnesses may live their remaining days pain-free and with dignity, and their families may accept and find their own new beginnings.

     Newcomers

Mother Lode Newcomers provides opportunities for new friendships…September through May, the Mother Lode Newcomers Club meets at monthly membership luncheons; usually held on the first Thursday of the month. Prospective new members are always welcome to attend. Come to our next meeting and meet new friends
